Caspian and Esra

And when we danced,
A taste of decadence,
My Caspian
To your Esra,
Lips of promise red,
And locks tumbling
With the exuberance
Of winter brooks
Newly thawed,

A taste of release
From unextraordinary identities
Into new realms
Of physical language,
Receptors humming
Light up the night,
Our electric silhouette
Sings celebration
Without shame,

A taste of abandon,
Your yearning Esra doll
All fragrant of flesh
And sinuous of rhythm,
Those mesmerising eyes
Call my Caspian
through the darkness,
Gasping at my soul.
And, who am I to deny?
